Glass Type information
Float glass and Art Glass
The Art glass we use has 2 advantages over the standard float glass:
+ A 70% UV-filter to prevent discolouration of the wood and pigments.
+ The glass has an antireflection coating and is therefore almost invisible.
Although the work will look good in the normal float glass, I recommend you to take the Art glass. This will give your work the same protection as our larger works and it will be almost invisible. Once you have it, you will want to upgrade other art frames in your home which do not have it yet.
Please select your preferred frame colour.

About the work

This work is made in our Light Forest style. A combination of White Sycamore with warmer tones of brown oak. The lush green breathes life into the urban landscape, representing the parks and recreational spaces that are the lungs of the city. Contrasted with dark blue-green bodies of water. This style has a Scandinavian feel about it and does well in modern and natural interiors. This work is made in our Light Forest style. A combination of White Sycamore with warmer tones of brown oak. Specifications of the Glass
Regular float glass is used in this frame. Its is a nice well rounded glass but it does have a reflection and the glass only stops between 30 -40% of the UV radiation. Which makes it important to keep the work out of direct sunlight.
This glass provides a great viewing experience due to its anti-reflective layer and >98% translucency. In addition it has a UV Filter which blocks more than 70% of the incoming UV radiation. This will considerably slow down discoloration of the wood and protect your art.
