Ash
Ash has very distinctive grain patterns and a light and classical appearance. The color spectrum ranges from pale creamy tones to deeper hues with pronounced brown streaks. Its grain, characterized by prominent growth rings and occasional cathedral patterns, adds visual interest and texture to the wood's surface. It is a very tough wood and has historically been used for bow making. It is still a popular wood for tool making such as for more expensive broom or spade shafts.
